Recall: Wall Mounts Sold Exclusively At Best Buy

Milestone AV Technologies, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of 140,000 LCD television wall mounts because they can crack when used with TVs larger than 26" and those that include DVD players. The TV can fall from the wall mount posing a serious risk of injury to bystanders.

To date, there has been no report of injury, but the company has been received 28 reports of incidents that involved the mount cracking and the television falling.

The recalled wall mounts are used with flat screen LCD TVs – INIT models NT-TVM1003 and NT-TVM104. They were sold nationwide at Best Buy stores.

The agency recommends consumers stop using the wall mounts immediately and to contact Milestone for a free repair kit.
